Social and Environnmental Impact of Asbestos

1. As a class, you have been divided into ten different groups, five historians and five health experts. 

2. Each group must partner with an opposing group.

 

After completing your research of the Chrono-records, you will meet with your partner group and discuss what you found starting with the history group, then onto the health group.  After your discussion, do you think asbestos use is a good thing or a bad thing?  Do you think of Canada made the right choices in regards to asbestos?

 

Afterwards everyone is done sharing in the combined groups, we will have a class discussion about what you found out.

 

Do not forget to write down what you found.  You will be judged based on the quality of the information you record and the amount you record; try to fill at least half a page with information.
